Danish, Berlin-based producer, singer and Dj Jacob Phono was growing up in a small town in northern Denmark with not much happening around him, he put much focus into music. At the age of thirteen he started playing the drums and through his teens he played live music in many different bands and experimented on different instruments. He later studied sound engineering, leading to a career within music, film and theater.
Dj'ing his way through the Berlin scene, he has been collaborating with numerous clubs and artists and hosted various parties – always with a profound love for the dancefloor. Jacob has also played at infamous clubs such as Berghain/Panoramabar, Club Der Visionaere, Tresor, Sisyphos and is a resident Dj at Katerholzig.
