JJHay has been into music since a very early age. Spending hours listening to his parents vast record collection from the 60's and 70's. He first got into house in the late eighties acquiring tapes of underground sets that had been copied so many times that the quality of the recording was poor. However something about the sound, the freshness, the rhythm just electrified and he was hooked.

When a friend in his street got 1200's he started learning to mix (Actually he recalls that his first go at mixing/remixing was using pause and record on old C90s listening to the charts on a sunday - haha who remembers that!!), within months he was helping to organise and play at some of the very first raves to be held in his area in the early nineties

JJHay has been DJing, mixing, producing and loving it ever since.
