Bogdan Ionescu aka IONESCU discovered his passion for electronic music at the age of 16 when at his first clubbing experience @ Studio Martin club, he found himself irresistibly attracted by this new world of sounds.

Inspired by producers such as Inland Knights, Chris Carrier or Ian Pooley he hit the dance floor in the early 2000's with a combination of deep house and tech house.

Richie Hawtin, Tania Vulcano, A:rpi:ar, Valentino Kanzyani, Loco Dice and the other passengers of the minimal train blew him away in a new era of deep house and minimal techno arriving nowadays to a joint venture style of old school, fresh sounds, percussion, groove and uplifting vocals.

Sharing the booth with Hernan Cattaneo in Studio Martin or smashing it in places such Newton Bar, Turabo, Persepolis Pool, Allure, Zvon, Session Club, Ultima Playa and El Dictador, Bogdan pays tribute to the God of Sounds embarking himself on a quest to the wave’s origins only to return with the secrets of vibe.
