At the beginning of 2011, Ken Lin and Adro (Adrian Budomo) decided to team up and start a trance duo. By spring, they gained enough experience mixing with industry standard equipment and started looking around for gigs. They played their first public performance in May 2011 at a local festival called PLUSH (by Soundrop Productions). In June, the duo released their debut compilation, First Intervention, under the name, Innovade. By popular demand, DYLI Productions booked them for their summer event, Amnesia. They destroyed the dance floor with their big room, melodic sound during their set and put on another mind-blowing show when they filled in for the absent headliner. After only 2 public gigs, they earned a spot at Abstract Festival’s mainstage and opened up the dance floor for renowned acts such as Arty and Tritonal. In October 2011, they got their first club gig and opened up for the world’s #8 DJ, Dash Berlin, at Fluxx, one of the finest clubs in San Diego.
