Igor Carmo is a Lisbon-born DJ and producer whose musical journey spans over two decades. Raised in Portugal’s vibrant capital, his early influences came from skate culture, late-night gatherings, and a deep love for vinyl, tapes, and CDs. After moving to the UK, he broke into the international scene by winning a Mixmag and Ministry of Sound competition, leading to a five-year global tour performing at renowned venues alongside top electronic artists.
Rooted in house music and inspired by the sounds of New York and Chicago, Igor has evolved his style into a sophisticated blend of progressive, minimal, deep tech, and organic house. His productions have been released on respected labels such as Nervous Records, Natura Viva, and Magna Recordings.
In 2026, he begins a new chapter with an EP on Lucid Flow Records, gaining support from key tastemakers John Digweed. He is also the founder of Alma Electronica, an event brand based in Birmingham.
