Coming late to the DJ'ing table, Darka is the moniker of one Richard Greenlow, a Junglist lad from South-East England, UK.
I began by learning to mix vinyl back in the day, around 1997, but learnt to use digital decks and built up mixing skills throughout 2023-2025.
Ever since a Fusion rave at the legendary Hastings Pier in 1994 had Dj Hype playing 'Dead Dreads', a confirmed Junglist raver was born in me, enter the man like Shadow - my producer name for the ensuing Jungle tracks of my own.
Since that time I have been producing Drum&Bass/Jungle music as CJ Shadow, and MC'ing under various names such as MC Jungle Monsta, Arjay, Darkarjay, Morphology & MC Morph.
I now present to the world my Jungle/DnB mixing skills as Darka. My pen name is Ignomius and I have published 4 volumes of poetry, bars and rhymes at Amazon.
