CHAPPY is a Nashville-based artist rooted in Americana storytelling and the grit of rock and roll. Raised in Georgia and shaped by time spent in the North Carolina mountains, music was present early — radio humming, instruments in the room, and story baked into the walls. After coming up through theater and church music, he moved to Nashville, where he’s spent over a decade writing, performing, arranging, and composing for podcasts, films, and narrative projects.

Offstage, CHAPPY is deeply devoted to radio show culture. He spins all-vinyl sets and tells stories through music, inspired by vinyl-first DJs and the raw immediacy of 1960s garage rock — driven by the same instinct that fuels his songwriting: connection, context, and honesty.
