Iris, is the granddaughter of Grace Buffong, Pentecostal, Bakery business owner in Harris's, Montserrat! Of course, her grandfather - Joseph and her mother, Louisa, who married her father Thomas Edward Kirwan in Stoke Newington UK, where she was born; are all a part of the ancestry which has forged the woman Iris has become. However, add to that, early life in London England, during the pioneering days of British Lovers Rock, as a vocalist in Revelation (With You Boy) and subsequent BV vocals for many of the international Reggae/Soul/Pop/Jazz music elite. All adding to a journey that has brought Iris into the Gospel Reggae genre. It's now easy to see and understand that when God gives gifts and talents to His children, regardless of time and experiences, He always makes a way to fulfill original purpose and destiny; if we so choose to exercise free will to pursue and take advantage of every door of opportunity opened, by His favour!
