Hyph-Life is a space on the air for exploring identity as experienced by young people of colour living in Australia, and other predominantly white, English-speaking societies.
Hyph-Life acknowledges that the land we record and broadcast on are the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nations. They are the custodians of this stolen land that we’re all so privileged to be living, learning and prospering on. Let’s also acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded, that no treaty has been signed and that all of us whose ancestors settled here are contributing in some form or other to the continuing oppression of First Nations people in this country. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging, and hope to reflect this in our actions and words.
