Hikuri Roots is a DJ from Jupiter. With unknown years of experience in the music industry, he has honed a unique sound that combines Funk, Disco, Afro, Latin, Jazz, Vintage & Avant garde alien sounds. Hikuri Roots began experimenting with music production at a young age, and quickly discovered a passion for mixing rare grooves and hard to find gems. He began performing at local clubs and events, quickly gaining a reputation as a rising talent in the Tulum music scene.​
In 2010, Hikuri Roots began touring internationally as a resident DJ for the Works Entertainment, ( a production company owned by Cirque Du Soleil ) performing in several countries throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, America & Oceania his eclectic and uplifting sets received critical acclaim and helped establish him as a force to be reckoned with in the World House community. Since then, he has performed at important festivals & venues such as Hulaween, Burning man, and the iconic Sydney opera House.
