Henry L is a DJ & producer residential in Cologne, Germany.Before mainly focussing on House/Techno and Disco related material a few years ago Henry previously successfully worked in other musical genres under different monikers. Besides his solo productions and collaborations with his Farside label mates Ingo Sänger and Matt Flores he also working as a sound engineer for other artists, e.g. german house icon Hans Nieswandt and many more.
His diversified trademark sound is influenced by classic Detroit and Chicago House, which often flirts with Disco and 80s Electronic Boogie. These mirror ball fantasies are joined by their Funk, Soul and Jazz stamped Hiphop roots. The sound coming out of his machines can be labeled as raw and organic. So far his tracks and remixes found their home on labels like Quintessentials, Sonar Kollektiv, Tokyo Dawn, Falkplatz, Love Unlimited Vibes, Soul Print as well as his home base Farside Records.
