I love all kinds of music and really enjoy digging for new and sometimes obscure sounds.
Music is a passion of mine. I love its power to transport you to different environments and moments in history, in a similar way that film can.
I grew up listening to a lot of grunge, rock, jungle, and everything Warp was releasing at the time in the ’90s. This led me to get more into electronic music, more specifically techno, and DJs such as Jeff Mills, along with much of what was coming out of Detroit. As I’ve grown older, so has my interest in music. Jazz, to a large degree, in all its many forms, occupies a lot of that space, as well as world music and ambient.
The mixes — if you can call them that — usually materialize spontaneously when I’m just relaxing and playing music. I’ve only recently started recording these moments.
