Handwrist is an experimental rock project by Rui Botelho Rodrigues from Lisbon, Portugal.

The project started in 2011 as an attempt to make music that was accessible to a wider audience than my previous efforts. So I wrote about 30 songs in a rock format, 4 of them included in the debut EP.

From there, the project grew from release to release into a fully experimental enterprise and now could be described somewhat as Progressive Rock, Fusion, or whatever. It still has some elements from before, except they are not the main ingredient, because there's no such main ingredient.

The truth is Handwrist is a lot of different things. It's definitely music. Beyond that, who knows? And who cares?
