'Illuminating Hackney' was the name we gave to an intergenerational digital walk - organised by Hackney Museum - for Hackney Secrets (a group of sixth-form photographers) and Hackney Silver Surfers (older people becoming digital participants) - led by local artist Martin Richman.
The walk ended at the Hackney Silver Surfers computer centre, where they unloaded their cameras, and reviewed the day's events live on Hackney Stream radio. The project was a great success.
Photos, video and audio were exhibited (17 January 2013) at an event marking the official unveiling of Martin Richman's light installation on Hackney Central Railway Bridge.
