Dubstep has now become a global phenomenon and the bass hit Indians somewhere in the year 2000.

Today, as the bass scene is growing bigger and getting better, HOOdub aka Asmita Parashar is making her presence felt in the male bastion of Dubstep in India.

Since 2010, HOOdub has gained a lot of underground attention for Experimental chilled side of Dubstep. She was mentioned in Generation Bass “Lazer Bass Burning” article for the same.

HOOdub has been brought up by underground music and artists.
Fabian, drbora, IriXx, Rajstah Vibe, Nesta Talmadge, Miraja are a few of her underground influences.

Apart from these, HOOdub also derives her inspiration from artists Clubroot, Distance, 2562, Vaccine, ill esha, Kuedo, Komonazmuk and other ambient artists like Jon Hopkins, Bonobo, Tycho and Lusine.

HOOdub intends to grow deeper in the roots of Dubstep and follow her passion for music.
