I started DJing back in the 90s and landed my first residency at Essence, held at Exile Nightclub in Birmingham. Huge respect to my main man Pete Deacon for believing in me from the start, never forget your roots.

From there, I went on to play across the city and beyond, but I became best known for my long-running residency at Genesis (Hadleys Bar), right where the Bull Ring shopping centre now stands.

My sound back then was rooted in speed garage, 2-step and house music in all its forms, with a healthy dose of trance thrown in when the venue - and the crowd - called for it.

These days I rarely DJ outside of my own home, as my focus has shifted to my teaching career. That said, my love for music has never faded, and I still believe that the right soundtrack can make any moment infinitely better.
