As a young lad, it was clear Grant Bernard (aka The Great Grantsby) had rhythm in his roots and a penchant for the past. He could often be found nosing through the boxes of vinyl and cassette tapes in his parents basement, getting his digits dusty tinkering with toy instruments and cutting a real racket! Though much time has passed since, Grant remains a cool cat who frisks his whiskers by looking "ceaselessly into the past" for inspiration, hoping to prove that the true speakeasy experience is still alive today. In 2013 Grant moved to Toronto and joined ‘The Electro Swing Club Toronto’ at Revival Bar (783 College St.) where he gets the joint jumping with the freshest blends of electro-swing beats and vintage video clips. “Can’t repeat the past?…Why of course you can!”
