Glen Martyn aka The Brothers Glen was renowned as a UK underground Garage DJ’s. One of the original crop of DJ’s on London Underground Pirate radio station when launched in the early 90’s. Playing at such venue’s Like Garage City at Bar Rumba, resident at Cookies N Cream for Kiss FM, Koo Club Leicester square , Astoria Theatre and Broadway Boulevards Ealing to name but a few.
Inspired by first going to Notting Hill Carnival with my older brothers, listening to the likes of DJ Paul Trouble Anderson at Electric Ballroom in the early to mid-80s and growing up listening to UK DJ’s Bobby &Steve, Evil Eddie Richards and US Dj’s Masters at Work, Frankie Knuckles, and Tony Humphries.
Nowadays you can find me on House Radio digital Presenting my Dis Soul Show, where I play a subculture of Soul Funk Disco music from the the 1970’s to the present day re-touched, re-edited, re-worked with a blend of Classic, Vocal and Soulful house tracks for today’s dance music listeners.
