My work explores the relationship between postmodern discourse and unwanted gifts.
With influences as diverse as Kafka and John Lennon, new tensions are manufactured from both traditional and modern textures.
Ever since I was a student I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of the moment. What starts out as triumph soon becomes corroded into a cacophony of futility, leaving only a sense of undefined and the prospect of a new reality.
As temporal forms become transformed through studious and undefined practice, the viewer is left with a summary of the limits of our condition.
