George Riavez is a Dj, producer, singer/songwriter based in London.
Born in Gorizia, Italy, he started djing at the age of 16, playing mainly dance and vocal, soulful house music. In 2004 he decides to move to Bologna to study performing arts. After graduating he works in theatre and is also the lead singer of different music projects: Esho Funi (acoustic pop/soul duo), Under Construction (70/80/90s pop-rock cover band) and his own solo project So Soul Boy (r’n’b/soul/pop).
He is also the writer and producer of the music project Claudia F, which will see two EPs released in 2016 and 2017: “Am I wrong?” and “Here and now”.
In 2012 he moves to London where he keeps working in the theatre industry alongside his new solo project: George Gio.
2019 sees a breaking point: George Riavez decides to quit the theatre industry to go back to his roots and embracing once again Djing and house music. His sets are a mix of groovy, bouncy soulful/funky/vocal house and deep and tech house.
