Joris Didden (AKA GeorD) was born in the Hague, The Netherlands. He started producing music because of a huge love for uplifting trance and later he began producing other genres like classical, ambient and chillout as well. Back in 2005 was the beggining of his music career by playing the piano, mostly classical pieces. In 2015 he started production of uplifting trance where his experience with piano aided greatly.
GeorD is completely self taught and has therefore developed a characteristic sound that many say they could recognize instantly. This style is best described as dreamy, cheerful and journeyful. The main influences for this style are SoundLift, Andy Blueman, The Thrillseekers, Alan Morris and Ferry Tayle.
