George produces public affairs podcast “Voices of the Community” which was hosted on KCSF. Voices of the Community features long-form conversations with thought leaders/change makers in our community developing solutions for the issues facing our neighborhoods. He also produces multi-media storytelling on topics and people.
George brings more than 17 years of experience in developing and implementing innovative and integrated social enterprise programs tied into fund development and strategic partnerships. His varied work has included nonprofit consulting, business development and management, as well as marketing and government/public affairs for organizations including Hack the Hood, the San Francisco Public Press and launching KSFP, Community Technology Network, Bay Area LISC, the San Francisco Mayor’s Office of Workforce, Economic Development, JunkGirls, and cocreated the Squaw Valley Olympic Museum. George was Senior Manager of Business Development at eBay Inc.
