Robin "Genksta" Gaethofs already felt the musical vibes at an early age of 14 years. He started off by using the software Virtual DJ and messing around. After a while it become more serious and he got invited to play at several local parties.

He’s really what can be called an allround DJ:dance,house,electro,hardstyle,dnb,etc. Nothing is too much and he's always up for the challenge.

Genksta was part of a 5-man DJ team with another Belgian DJ, 2 Dutch and 1 Norwegian DJ. This team also produced some own tracks. Later on this team took a break and never reunited.

Genksta and the famous norwegian DJ nordog had ideas to start an own team, but this idea has been put on hold for now.

Nowadays he’s busy mixing hardstyle, house, electro & dance and improving his mixing/producing skills.
