Gen X Jersey

Hi, I'm Melissa. Gen X Jersey is a late-night radio show where I encourage, nay, implore you to listen to some music with me without doing anything else. Can you do it?

The Gen X part is about me, but not the music. I grew up listening to music as an activity all its own. So every Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET, I invite you to wind down with me with songs from many generations and genres. And now, you can listen here on Mixcloud any time.

I play music you probably know, stuff you may have forgotten and some that I’ll bet are new to you. There’s no deep dives to figure out and no lesson attached. I save the overthinking for my other endeavors.

I’m a writer and storyteller, and this show is where I let the music do the talking. Words are my thing, but music is my love.

Gen X Jersey is my way of wishing you a good night and good music.

I also host the Gen X Jersey podcast, where I tell stories behind my other work. Listen wherever you get your podcasts.
