Disco Volume One

Welcome to Disco Volume One.

I love disco nights, who doesn't love disco nights? Everyone cuts loose on the dancefloor, the music is timeless and like Northern Soul and Modern soul the majority of lyrics are about love, happiness and dancing, not sure where the Twilight Zone and Supernature fit though.

Listening to these tracks you can hear so many sounds that have influenced bands and music that followed in later years. It's impossible not to move to these records and to punch the air singing ooh ooh!

"Leave your worries behind, cause rain, shine, don't mind, we're ridin' on the groove line tonight"

Too right!

As always this mix was recorded from my own collection of 45's at Williamson Studios.
