I was born in Lisbon, Portugal and a proud descendant of west African immigrants from Guinea-Bissau.

Over the past 7 years while working as an audio engineer for Big Smoke Studios in north London, then at Brixton Recording Studios and Brxtn Village Studios in south London, I got to develop my own sound by being of service to a wide range bands and artists I have recorded and mixed for.

I'm currently focused on DJing and building a distinctive brand that reflects my cultural heritage, musical roots and artistic identity.

"Traxx on Roots" works as a window into my mind, where each live mix guides your ears through this journey that traces back to my ancestral influences

These references become more and more evident as you begin to hear more of the different elements of traditional percussion music (Batucada / Batida / Batuku), dance and Black History themes from Brazil, Angola, Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde.
