Gainesville Grooves is the weekly hour radio show that airs on WGOT LP FM 100.1 and plays only Gainesville, Fla. area related music.

Hosted, written and produced by Gargs Allard, it was inspired by the time that Gargs worked at rock104.com with Glenn Richards and Glenn had a show called Locals Only, which covered music from and around the Gainesville, Florida area.

Gargs (aka Greg) Allard, who received his BS in journalism in 2012 from the University of Florida, is also the founder of the online music magazine Tune Groover (http://tunegroover.com).

He also created and writes the music talk show The Gargsville Radio Hour, and his nationally followed show Power Pop Portal. All three shows air on WGOT LP 100.1 FM and have MixCloud pages.
