I love a quote from Gilberto Gil that says: “Brazilians are a being on the planet, the size of the world.” That's why we have the mission of seeing beauty in variety and abundance, and thus absorbing the best that the planet's culture has to offer. That's why limiting myself to playing just one genre doesn't make sense to me!
