“Born Stephan Brosnan in St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia, music featured heavily in Steph’s childhood with his father playing lead guitar for Australian music icon’s Paul Kelly and Ian Rilen who were great family friends and often shared babysitting duties during which he and the other “80′s Rock and Roll babies” would keep each other company during jam sessions that subconsciously influenced his musical tastes from an early age.

Steph Yeah first started “DJ’ing” back in 2004 after a stint producing Trip Hop in Melbourne with good friend and local St Kilda artist Heinz Simpson got the creative (musical) juices flowing.

Finding that he enjoyed the technicality of the production side of things a little more than just spinning CD’s or Vinyl, Steph moved towards digital DJ software very early on and has now perfected his setup so as to bring the best of both live performance, production and DJ’ing into one dynamic “anything goes” approach to his live sets."
