New York, United States

Having never made it to the big time, I have had some memorable moments behind the mixer and turntables. Always played vinyl (since there was no such thing as digital) during my “career”. From 1987-94 I was deeply involved in ACT-UP, an international activist organization, dedicated to fighting for the rights of People with Aids as well as all issues concerning the crisis. I was always available to donate my time and expertise to benefit the organization and probably drew the biggest crowds of my tenure. From 1992-94 I was a resident Dj at The Stonewall Inn in NYC, home of the 1969 riots that sparked the Gay rights movement. I played numerous one-night stands at many clubs, but my most memorable was the 25th anniversary of the Stonewall uprising at a prominent leather bar called The Lure (closed in 2003). On Mixcloud, I hope to introduce people to some current and older tunes they might not have heard before and promote some of the artists responsible for such great music.
