MikeyMike, the former host of Funkybreakz Radio, served up all things funky fresh every Friday from 5pm to 6pm (PST) on 101.7 CHLY fm Radio. His broad definition of funky encompassed various genres, spanning decades of sounds. The show featured live interviews with international artists in the studio. As a result of his radio show, DJ MikeyMike had the honor of supporting and opening up for artists like Fort Knox Five, Slynk, Funkanomics, JPOD, Funk Hunters, Neighbour, DJ All Good, Pigeon Hole, and Canadian rock legends such as Trooper, Chilliwack, Bif Naked, and Platinum Blonde.

In his live DJ performances, MikeyMike's style was characterized by heavy thrills, rolling breakbeats, a dash of hip-hop from the golden era, and sneaky soulful hooks that effortlessly transported listeners to the next dimension of funky bass.
