DJ Jake grew up in the San Fransisco Bay area in the 1980's. His inspiration for falling in love with house music all began in 1994 when he went to see a live performance by Jeno and Garth at "Homebase" in Oakland, California. After that event it was safe to say he was hooked and immediately started mixing and began spinning local house Party's and night clubs in 1996. Looking for change, he moved out to San Diego, California in 2000 and made a great name for himself in the underground scene. Mixing all over the western United States you can only expect a well orchestrated house set from this well organized DJ. As the developer and founder of "FunkyPlanetRadio" created by Jake Stewart in 2006 he has thrown events known as House Nation,The Wash & New World Order. After many years passing, he has played with some of the best house DJ's around the world and has stood his ground without busting a sweat.
