Fundamental Conduit are a spoken word and musical performance group that meet and rehearse fortnightly in Paisley, Scotland (or we did before the covid pandemic). Conceived by spoken word performer Gwen McKerrell in 2018, we've since performed at several local venues and festivals including Renfrewshire Mental Health Festival and Paisley Book Festival. We've also hosted workshops run by local writers, poets and musicians as well as our own members. The group currently consists of 10 performers and 2 musicians but we welcome new members and collaborations. We're currently keeping in contact via facebook and zoom and working on a lockdown video project.
