Frenchie King, man on a mission and a reggae luminary with over five decades in the industry, has collaborated with Jamaican greats like Alton Ellis, Dennis Brown, Bobby Davis, Owen Gray and Tito Simon., among other legends. Starting his journey in Jamaica's church choirs, Frenchie's musical odyssey began with the formation of "Black Stallion" backing and singing alongside Alton Ellis in the late 60s. Transitioning to a solo career in the 80s, he crafted hits like "Your Entitled" and "Poor me Natty Dread" under M1 Records. Frenchie's musical legacy includes producing for Owen Gray and penning the iconic anthem "Black Bird" for the band Akabu. Black Bird was written for the struggle of freedom for people all over the world. His latest album, "People Had Enough," released in 2020, stands as a testament to his enduring passion for music.
