I have been in love with music pretty much since I was able to walk! The first record I bought was 'Ring my bell' by Anita ward in 1979 and from then I was hooked on vinyl. The advent of New Wave and electronic music totally captivated me, with artists like Gary Numan, The Human League, Giorgio Moroder, Depeche Mode providing the soundscape for my early teens. The late '80s introduced me to house music and a lot of my friends purchased turntables so most of my time was spent learning to mix and expanding my vinyl collection, moving along with the genres from Chicago house, through Detroit Techno to Belgian Techno, Rave and Hardcore where I finally started DJing at a small venue in Worcester Park, graduating to larger raves. As Hardcore split into multiple sub genres like Jungle, Drum & Bass I stopped DJing while I continued looking for new music. I got into the progressive sound of Sasha & Digweed, moving into trance and Hard House, which is what I now play out.
