Fred Balkayou Dj/Producer Based in Brixton, London created several Club Nights such as "Little Sounday", “Balkan Sonik”, “Balkan Bebop” and recently “Caravan Cairo”. During the past 20 years he's developed and perfected his own personal sound and style as a DJ.
He likes telling stories with his tunes and loves taking people away into a journey of different contrats, colours and intensity. Master of the dance floor or lounge bar alike.
His sound?? Think of Eastern European, Swing, Arabic, Dub & Oriental influences with the cutting edge sounds of modern electronic beats of all kinds.
Fred Balkayou has played on the sides of Caravan Palace, Balkan Beat Box, Shantel, Mahala Rai Banda, Gypsy Hill, The Destroyers, and played at most major UK festival such as Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Glade, Lovebox, Chrysalid and many more...
