'Forest Folk' is presented by Peter Aston each Monday evening between 8.00 & 10.00 on Forest FM and 33 and a Third (classic album tracks) is each Friday between 7.00 & 8.00. Forest FM broadcasts on 92.3 and 98.9FM, on DAB+, on your smart speaker and also online at www.forestfm.co.uk On Mondays Peter plays folk music in its widest sense - from the earliest cylinder recordings, through the folk revival of the 50s & 60s, singer/songwriters and right up to date with the latest releases and previews of festivals & gigs in the south. On Fridays Peter plays classic and rarely-heard album tracks from the past 60-odd years or so.
