Loved soul music since seeing Geno back in '68, in a sweaty club.
The club was the Golden Torch,Hose Street, Tunstall, Stoke on Trent.
this turned out to be a life long obsession with music originating from African America. Great music and nights out at great clubs;The Torch,Casino,Morecambe, Tony's Empress Ballroom, Wulfrun Hall, The Bear, Keele,Hacienda, Shelly's, Amnesia, King's Hall. Sadly age catches up eventually, but the music lives on.
