2010 has been a good year for Fluid Radio and we have had the privilege of covering some remarkable releases...
As we collected our favorites and narrowed them down to just 50, 'Silver Lines' by Anna Rose Carter has always been the one album that just had that extra something and hence, warranted the No. 1 spot.
The album was also a huge source of inspiration to me earlier in the year whilst going through a difficult time and without 'Silver Lines' Fluid Radio would not be here today! I kid you not.
Some words I penned for a micro review earlier this year perfectly sums up what we think:
'The key to the success of each piece is the simplicity of Anna’a arrangements. There is nothing overcomplicated here, and yet you witness an impressive compositional quality that gently expands within each track allowing the listening experience to be achingly beautiful.'
