Flicker To Flame writes, records, produces, and performs original drum and bass & electronic music for the dancefloor fanatic and the audiophile enthusiast. At the helm is Ryan Goodman, bringing decades of DJ and production mastery into the fold. Chris Anton (guitar) and Chris Newton (bass) finish each other’s musical sentences, and deliver other-worldly skills and sounds. Rounding out the group is Greg Warren (saxophone and flute), who layers in melodies and soundscapes above and within the musical ether.
The music fuses “in the moment” progressions and melodies over Live PA drum and bass & jungle beats, giving listeners a soundtrack for any chapter in their individual stories. Innovative music technology allows the instrumentalists to perform and trigger midi-based tones that blend the most current electronic sound design techniques with true song craftsmanship. In a world of derivative electronic music produced to a standardized formula, this live band is a breath of fresh air.
