This mix arrives like a strobe-lit communiqué from the sticky, ecstatic heart of the underground. It yanks the warmth out of The Bahama Soul Club’s Latin-jazz shimmer — “But Rich Riddim” becomes a stripped-back techno mutiny, hips turned to machine, soul kept only as a stubborn echo. “Looking for What I Knew” filches Led Zeppelin’s “Friends,” grafting vintage rock warmth onto neon synths and hypnotic loops until the original is both ghost and scaffold. From there the set barrels into proper London acid-techno chaos: acidic squall, brittle percussion, cavernous reverb, tracks that bite and smile. It’s riotous, clever, and occasionally tender — the sort of mix that makes you want to dance like you’re sabotaging the morning. Volume up, dignity optional.
