East End born Fidel has always had an eclectic taste in music, so it’s no surprise that a love of experimenting with sound led him to acquire
his own decks at just 17.
From a young age, Fidel quickly developed his unique musical signature resulting in him being a firm fixture on the 90s club scene, residing at
Turnmills’ now defunct legendary night ‘Melt’.
His skill of spotting future classics, mixing vinyl and passionate knowledge of house music, naturally led Fidel into production, where he teamed up with DJ Karim to produce music for house label ‘Tripoli Trax’. The production duo’s trademark sound had industry big wigs such as Carl Cox champion their tunes and regularly publish them on his Top Ten lists.
Fidel has gone on to share the decks with some of the most internationally and highly sought after DJ’s including: DJ Sneak,
Terry Farley, The 2 Bears, Junior Sanchez, Sven Vath, Derrick May, Paul Daley from Leftfield, Eddie Amador, Halo+Hippee.
