Fantasy Faire Radio (FFR) is a special event internet radio station for Fantasy Faire, the annual Spring celebration of fantasy art, writing, design and creativity that raises money every year in the virtual world of Second Life for the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, supporting cancer research, caregivers and cancer sufferers all over the world. FFR has been made possible by the generosity of Radio Riel.
Operating during the Faire, FFR features a mix of Renaissance, New Age, Classical and Fantasy Soundtrack music. In addition, Fantasy Faire Radio presents radio drama, poetry, and writing, notably "Tales From The Fairelands", a series of short stories and poems inspired by the changing Fairelands and commissioned as part of the annual Fantasy Faire LitFest.
