Bleep Competition

OKAY! we had been in such a tizz trying to get this mix up that we didn't have time to write anything about it, when we have so much to say!
'Fantastic Damage' were only born recently, which has kind of been the uniting of two stray souls...with a huge passion for sound, rhythm & damaging dancefloors !
We hoped to have created a memorable mix that echoes 2010. A mix you can notice something about on each listen, and essentially a mix that you want to play again & again ! We were very keen on using our choices in inventive ways. Layering Daft Punk's rawcus 'Derezzed' synth over Shed's 'Keep Time' beats was certainly a major grinning moment! as was finding that James Blakes seminal 'CMYK' infused with Ramadanman's melancholic 'Don't Change' breaks lit up our imagination! All pop aside, we hardly could have left out 'verse of the year' Nicky Minaj on 'Monster' half speeding over Millie & Andrea's uber 160 skittle beats!
