Here's to you Mamma!
I wanted to make a composition that reflects the time we have all been experiencing, but at the same time focusing on past hints of history, circumstance and consequence.
So many others have done this lately, but I wanted to be subtle. I wanted to keep it on a relative level, whilst channeling my thoughts through samples, music, humour, and sound design, without sounding like a cheesy flannel.............obvious and utterly desperate.
This has been a labor of love, but I'm glad to put this one to rest.
I meant to put it out last year.........when Mr Dick Face Piss Wizard was still President!!.......but I just didn't.
We forget things so fast, don’t we.

I'm sorry to have got to this one 9 months late (it'd been on my "listen later" list for ages) - but really glad I've got round to it, and now that I have, feel many listens are in store! Exceptional work as ever my friend, so well balanced and nuanced throughout and a truly personal testament, a genuine soundtrack to our lives 🎵

No, I was 9 months to late!! I took to long to get this one right!
Slightly fell off the grid there too for a while mate, par for the course over the last couple of years though... all good now though and feeling more inspired to put some long overdue content out there!

I actually got quite tearful from your comment. I hadn't done a mix like this for a while.......then Covid happened. I have no other clout in the world, so i express myself thoughts through music, samples etc, and the shit i'v been through.......... and some people listen.......from time to time. Peace
