Jorge Bex is a Colombian native who moved to San Diego at age 14. Influenced by the sounds of a newly established Rock en español scene in San Diego he starts his first band which got a local following early on. He later worked for Polygram where he helped write a couple of top 40 hits in the latin charts.
After the band broke up in 99' he decides towards a big move to London where he was first introduced to the vast electronic music scene. He worked at the now legendary Plastic fantastic Records in London where he was able to tap in to a an ample collection of dance music ranging from early 70's classic disco to the then popular progressive house.
In 2002 he plays his first DJ gigs at the dubious Notting Hill Art club and holds his first residency at the Leinster until 2004 when he returns to the states and re-settles in San Diego.
As a DJ he has shared the stage with the likes of Erlend Oye, Steve Aeoki, James Zabiela, Pete Tong, DJ Hell, Jacques Renault just to name a few.
