My love affair with radio began in 1990 while I was doing my Masters degree at Penn State and joined the team at WPSU FM. As well as becoming director of the Avant-Garde Show, I launched As The Crow Flies, a weekly HipHop show into which I would sneak some UK Jungle, Drum N Bass as well as the flourishing British soul revival. Soul II Soul and Young Disciples had a lot of traction stateside.

As The Crow Flies resurrected some years later on Radio Teesdale in rural County Durham, England and ran weekly for eight years before flitting to Radio Summerhall in Edinburgh where it now showcases delicious outliers from the worlds of Hip-Hop, dubstep, jungle, DnB, Grime and the avant-garde.
