In 2014, his passion for his residence city of Piraeus led him to try local civic life, and he was voted, with more than 14,000 votes - a record vote in the annals of localized council elections - first member of the town Council, functioning closely with the city's mayor, Yiannis Moralis, to provide plans of urban renewal and regeneration over the municipality. Evangelos attended a public school in Piraeus, Greece and in Watford, England. Then studied for a BA in 'International Business Administration' and finished his studies with a Master's Level in 'International Relations' in England. He's wedded to Athanasia Kassioti.
