Escape the Mundane (ETM) is an underground electronic music project by Dutch DJ Marcel from the Rotterdam area, built around one simple philosophy: “DJ’ing for FUN.” With years of experience in the club scene, pirate radio, and professional light & sound engineering, Marcel creates immersive musical journeys designed to help you disconnect from the daily grind.

Moving between 121 and 125 BPM, ETM explores deep grooves, rich atmospheres and slow, hypnotic progressions.

Progressive House and Melodic House form the core, with occasional journeys into deep Melodic Techno.

Extended multi-hour mixes are designed to tell a story—put on your headphones, let the music take over, and escape the everyday.
