Let me introduce myself: I live in Drachten and was born in the picturesque Langezwaag, Friesland. In my younger years, I started messing around with cassette tapes, recording music without the chatter of a DJ. Later, I became a disc jockey, and back then, we could mix records ourselves.

I experimented with blending two records, usually a 12-inch, and later discovered the Revox, bouncing back and forth between tracks. Those were the days, full of tape hiss and editing sounds. It wasn’t as advanced as today’s tech, but there was a certain charm.
